Tech is an information portal for anyone who wants to understand how infrastructure, construction, and transportation actually work in Poland — not just when something opens or gets delayed, but why.

What we cover

We report on the systems people move through and depend on every day: roads, railways, bridges, airports, ports, and public transit. That includes the money behind them — tenders, EU funding, cost overruns, and the politics that shape which projects move forward and which stall. We follow construction and building materials as an industry, from cement and steel to prefabrication and energy efficiency standards. We also track the regulatory layer: permits, zoning, environmental reviews, and the court rulings that can freeze a site for years. Where transport policy meets daily life — tolls, timetables, road closures, fare changes — we treat it as news, because for readers it is.

What readers can expect

Straight reporting, attributed sources, and numbers that can be checked. We separate what is confirmed from what is announced, and we say so when a figure is an estimate or a projection. We do not run press releases as articles. When a project is behind schedule or over budget, we report that plainly, alongside the official explanation. Coverage is written for a general reader who follows current affairs but does not work in the sector — no jargon without a definition, no assuming the reader already knows the acronym.

We verify claims before they appear, and we correct errors openly rather than quietly editing them away.
